CloudKid Presents Biometrix - The Upside Down (ft. Sarah De Warren)

British producer, Biometrix, releases his first track on CloudKid, inspired by the world of Netflix series favourite, Stranger Things, entitled, ‘The Upside Down.’ The song, as Biometrix describes, is a retrowave meets rocktronic meets dance pop tune that should noticeably belong in a video game or – in a perfect world – on the subsequent Stranger Things soundtrack with all of its energy, eeriness and enthusiasm, made even stronger via vocals by British vocalist, Sarah de Warren.

Biometrix says about the song, “We all know her. Eleven. And she’s still here. She’s been here for so long she can’t remember. But she’s trying to warn you to stay out. Don’t make the same mistakes she did, don’t risk your life for the sake of your concern. Careful here, don’t turn your life upside down. So, Sarah and I worked together in the past and decided to write another fantasy record dedicated to our love for Stranger Things. We had such fun making it, and we hope this song will help get listeners and fans alike into the spirit of the new season that’s out soon.”

»Don't make the same mistakes she did...«

Drawing influence from just about every type of music, Biometrix continues to carve his niche in the world of crossover electronic music. Fuelled with energy, provocative lyrics, and addictive themes, his versatile sound still maintains a firm signature. Mid 2022, Biometrix has amassed over 100 million collective plays online, with support from multiple curators, playlisters and YouTube endorsements, as well as thousands of weekly Shazams, and a bucketload of exciting collaborations.. Vocally, alongside him on the track is songwriter and singer, Sarah de Warren, who started  2021 with a UK New Music Friday, eventually breaking 2 million monthly listeners later in the year. Since then, Sarah’s scored several top 10s on various charts, and is consistently placed on Spotify Editorials. In addition to writing and singing, she’s performed all over Europe and the US, most recently having performed with Gareth Emery at Ultra Music Festival 2022.
