CloudKid Presents Georgina Black - Doll House
The staple debut into Georgina Black’s world of spook-inspired, guitar heavy, dark pop is here, with ‘Doll House.‘ Starting off soft, but gradually growing eager with tension, this song keeps that moody, villainy edge that Black wants to be known for, while also giving it an eerie feel. Welcome to the Doll House.
Georgina says of the track, “I was very inspired by the artist Maggie Lindemann on this song, although, I did dive into my Halloween playlist and drew inspiration from Ava Max and Lady Gaga, too. The song is about capturing someone in your doll house who you want for yourself. It references well-known dolls such as Barbie, the Bratz dolls and even Annabelle, the doll from the well-known horror movie.”

Guitar driven dark pop with a scary finish, UK-based Georgina Black is ready to show the world that her music will make a lasting impression, and become testament of her future musical prowess. In doing so, she hopes to give alternative-pop a new brand name with her Halloween-infused themes, alongside her guitar driven tracks, that capture her vocals, but also her storytelling, her songs spanning across different topics that go further than her love for horror movies. Starting out under her legal name, Georgina has been performing and writing since the age of 13, with artists such as Avril Lavigne and FLETCHER being able to give her the guidance to shape her sound. Her first official release on CloudKid, ‘Doll House,‘ out now!
