With a handful of applauded singles the last few years, Ponette recently announced their new signing with Seeking Blue, the musical tastemaker, giant “Mr.SuicideSheep.” With a catchy, dark, pop sound, nicely wrapped in a mysterious grungy attitude, the group already has been noticed as one of the north's most exciting bands. Ponette has played at big Norwegian music festivals such as By:larm and Slottsfjell, and has their music synced in the big Norwegian film “Psychobitch.” Ponette also garnered great support from big tastemakers such as The Line of Best Fit, Beehive and MrSuicdeSheep, so it's safe to say that the interest is rising around this Norwegian band, that doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon.
